She has extensive knowledge on socio economic coastal villagers, value chain analysis of marine products, marine products development, gender and livelihoods of small scale fishers. She conducted VC study for ILO, FAO, UNDP TNC, Oxfam, CSIRO and PLAN International. She promotes the use of VCA to strengthen the participation of small scale producer along the chain.
